Best DDR Songs

Hey blog world! Right now I’m in an airport in Narita Japan awaiting my flight to Newark. To pass the time I’ve been watching music video’s on YouTube. One of the songs I was listening to was on one of the DDR (Dance Dance Revolution) machines at the Bulldog Gym (an old interactive fitness gym for kids that was in Newfoundland but closed down.) It brought back memories of all the fun I had dancing to it with my friends! It also gave me the idea to write this blog post! Here are some of my favorite songs from “Dance Dance Revolution” games!

“Centrefold” by the J. Geils Band: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=KN6t-QJsjTw. This is such a fun and retro song! I loved dancing to it! I was really good too!

“Video Killed The Radio Star” by the Buggles http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=W8r-tXRLazs: At first I couldn’t even get past this song on easy! After lots and lots of practice I got better and along the way learned to love this song.

“Take On Me” by A-Ha http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=djV11Xbc914: The music video to this song played would play while I danced. I liked watching it.

“Funkytown” by Lipps Inc http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=5CImrIKNmBo: I loved doing this one on double with my friend L.B!

“Suddenly I See” by K.T Tunstall http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=9AEoUa0Hlso: I sang along to this one while I danced. It was fun!

“Captain Jack” by Captain Jack http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=boNRVXR7bqg: This one was extremely hard because it was so fast and notes were coming at you like freaking wildfire even on easy! Even thoiugh it was difficult I still enjoyed it!

Have you ever played one of the “Dance Dance Revolution” games? What was your favorite song on it? Tell me in the comments!
