“Cocoon” Movie Review

Hey blog world! My family and I went to Wal-Mart today to get our pictures done. As we were walking to the checkout counter to ring in some other stuff we bought Dad found the movie “Cocoon” http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=s9BSsIX2j7M and thought me and my Neice would like it so he bought it for us. We watched it tonight and he was right! It was directed by Ron Howard Opie. Before he was a director he worked in front of the camera. He played Opie in “The Andy Griffith Show” and Richie Cunningham in “Happy Days”. This was the first movie that I’d seen that he directed and thought it was really cool! It was about a group of elderly people who find a fountain of youth in the nextdoor neighbors pool after aliens rent it out and put their cocoons inside. It had a few sad moments (I counted (spoiler alert) 4 deaths in the film) but other than those it was a great movie! I loved it when the old men went to the nightclub and were dancing! They were really really good! I’m not going to spoil it for you but I loved the ending! It was incredible! The special effects were too! The aliens looked really neat! I give this movie a big 10 out of 10! It was awesome! Do you like movies about aliens? Why or why not? Tell me in the comments!
