Hey blog world! Whenever I feel sad I turn on music to help me feel happy again! The best music to listen to while sad I think is definately funny music! Especially funny Country music! Country artists young and old have written some of the funniest songs I’ve ever heard! Here are a few of my favorites!
“May The Bird Of Paradise Fly Up Your Nose” by Little Jimmy Dickens http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=Pzk4l2NYx_Y. I’m not entirely sure what this song is about but I laugh every time I hear the chorus!
“Thank God and Greyhound” by Roy Clark http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=tx8x3LCnYZw. This isn’t a very polite song but man is it ever funny! It got a lot of laughs when I recited it to my class during a poetry reading in grade 7!
“Online” by Brad Paisley http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=UE6iAjEv9dQ. This is a super hillarious song about a 40 something pizza delvery guy who drives an old Hyundai, lives with his parents, has asthma, owns Frodo ears and a lightsabre, eats enough to feed an elephant and lies on Myspace to get girls to like him! I can’t stop laughing when I hear the song and the video is hillarious as well!
“Betty’s Buns” by George Canyon http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=fl13kmZ7-vI. This song is about a person named Betty who makes delicious buns! This video made me laugh a lot! The funniest part is definately the surprise ending!
“Sneaky Snake” by Tom T Hall http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=MchhtofbgJI. This is a song all about a snake who steals your root beer and then dances! My neice and I love this song! It’s so funny and lots of fun to sing along with!
“Do Wacka Do” by Roger Miller http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=8lw33d7K12E&feature=related! This is a song about a man who runs free, his days are never blue and drives around in a Cadillac filled with girls and how Roger wishes he had his good luck charm and happiness and the other guy had to do wacka do wacka do (whatever that means)! I love singing along with this song but I can never sing the do wacka do part all the way through because I keep laughing!
What’s the funniest song you’ve ever heard blog world? Tell me in the comments!
