Duets

Hey blog world! I love listening to singers sing songs by themselves but some of my favorite songs are duets! One of my favorite duets is “You And Me” sung by Alice Cooper and Miss Piggy http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=XLo10_1hSZg&feature=related ( by the way that creature singing with Alice is in fact Miss Piggy. They just cut out the part at the end where she turns back into herself and then gets mad at Alice for turning her into this monster.) I love “You And Me” when Alice sings it by himself but I think it’s way better when Miss Piggy is singing with him! Another one of my favorite duets is “Louisiana Woman Mississippi Man” by Conway Twitty and Loretta Lynn http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=Rm5-sZLBPfs. This is such a catchy and upbeat love song! It’s extremely well written and also who better to sing it then the king and queen of Country music (in my books at least). I don’t know about you guys but I think that those 2 made such a perfect pair and totally should have gotten married. Unfortunately Conway’s dead so that’s not gonna happen :(. Anyways getting back to the subject I love Kenny Rogers and Dolly Parton’s duet of “I’ll Be Home With Bells On” http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=nJ4D9jzGPU0. Kenny and Dolly have several other awesome duets but this is the best one ever! I also love the song “Busy” from the “Veggietales” movie “Flibber O Loo” http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=UsqruZS4nyM. This is a duet sung by Archibald Asparagus and some other vegetable who’s name I’v forgotten LOL! Sure it’s not very nice because they’re completely ignoring poor Larry but at least it’s catchy! There’s 1 more duet that I wanna share with you. It’s called “Golden Ring” and it’s sung by George Jones and Tammy Wynette http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=Q9KniULwvjE. If I were to rate this song I’d give it a 5. It’s a great song but in my opinion I think the tempo should have been a little slower. What are your favorite duets blog world? Tell me in the comments!
